Fun-filled.
Groovin' to the beat.
Indian poker with the og.
Vodka n' Rum & Coke.
Attempt at making our own shots.
Screaming out loud our lucky draw numbers.
Not lucky winners of ipod nano though.
Dancing up on the stage.
Self-high.

All in all, we had a great time. Like what weicong said: "The last burst before we start to mug." Hey, wait. There's still MoS to look forward to! Free entry, nxt thurs for tertiary students. =)

Sch has kinda started but i'm still not really getting used to the early mornings. Thankfully, its not anything like aj where i always had to make the 100m dash from the gate to the parade square to avoid staying back till 6pm in sch to get back my EZ-link card. What bullshit right. That's the worst-ever system in aj.

Now in NUS, first 2 wks r kinda honeymoon as tutorials haven started, but there's still the printing of notes, locating ur LTs to hassle about. And trying to understand the way some of the non-local lecturers speak. -__-

And yest, we had our first og outing! Fun, and we watched CLICK! Its a super nice show la. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by me. =) And the councillors, ogls really did a great job, caring and nice to all of us. Thanks lots! Just that, i'm still not very orientated in sch.

Meeting my ex-colleagues again this fri for dinner! We're really a damn cool of gang la, and the age ranges like from 21-34? Haha ok i shall try to refrain from calling some of them uncles. Meeting up, catching up, gossips in the office!!! Every gathering there's always like some juicy news. And we paint our bosses into some marvel super heroes or swordsmen from the past. Haha of course, in the negative way. Bosses r generally terrible. Looking fwd to the gathering man.

Updates updates updates!

Things r looking to get real busy and i'm not relli prepared for sch. There's matriculation in the afternoon and yet i'm still here la. And then there's the many dozens of cca booths that i hav to run thru. YA, literally run thru! Cause i heard that its really messy with all the cca pple trying to pull you into their ccas. Okay dis is the side issue anyway.

Main thing is have to start bidding after i'm matriculated. And i havent decided on which GEM/SS modules to take. And it looks too good to be true that i'm only taking 2 CORE modules for 1st sem. (according to the recommended sem schedule) What a good recommendation =)

Other than that, i signed up for the engin o wk! But there r sum activities that i feel like ponn-ing man. And im most likely gg for the wakeboard introductory course too! Hopefully its fun, and its near my place >> punggol marina. =)

I'm back from Redang! =)

Redang was good - the white sand, clear blue waters and the humongous sun. Great spot to teh, snorkel and suntan.

2 days of snorkelling. First day of snorkelling was exhausting. Big waves just keep coming in, sweeping us back when we're trying to go forward. But we still see fishes & corals. Some of the gals got dragged around with the help of our flipper guides. Oh ya, tourists arent allowed to wear flippers in case of doing any damage to the corals. And we ended our snorkelling activity by building our own 'mermad'! That's cool, too bad we dun hav any camera with us. Day 2 was so much better! This time, we went to Marine Park for snorkelling. That place was more populated, but it was so much easier to snorkel. It's really so relaxing, swimming around with the fishes and feeding them. This time round, managed to see baby sharks & baby turtles! No sight of dolphins though.

Besides snorkelling (the usual activity), we did night trekking! Our guide wanted to show us the 'blue sand phenomena'. So he took us to climb rocks to get to the other side of the beach, where we board the speedboat and went over to another resort. There, the enthu malays keep pestering us to disco n party lar. We did for a short while, but the dancefloor lights were so damn blinding. Then he took us to see the blue sand! And its real. You'll see some of the sand particles glittering in blue.

For the rest of the time, what we all did there was beach vball, suntanning, endless rounds of asshole daidee, indian poker, bridge and mahjong! The night before we went back to s'pore, we played asshole daidee till 3am! Not forgetting the extra companion we got when the moth flew into the room. So many of them freaked out, huh. What a funny sight, if only i was fast enough to capture that moment. Hehe.

Its a short and wonderful getaway before sch starts. Though the food and lodging wasnt up to our expectations, we make do with it and still enjoyed ourselves thoroughly! Wonderful guides (though they cant be trusted at times), great company! An alternate and unforgettable experience.

Pictures are up in my friendster. =)

Meeting up with friends was cool! Done some catching up, more like talking cock and teasing one another as usual. Surprised that the turn-up ended up more than i expected. So we had bak kut teh at this hawker centre opposite queensway shopping centre. It was not bad! Just that its slightly different from the typical bak kut teh that taste much more spicy with abundance of black pepper. But i do like this taste, cause i'm not someone who can tahan real spicy food. Then we wandered around the shopping centre, and i past by the shop selling the cobian slippers/sandals again. It looks durable and nice eh, but abit high on the price for such footwear. Maybe i'll buy next time.

And i'm playing pangya now! its a golf game - introduced by mervin. Not bad, quite fun.. haha.

And im excited about the redang trip! Its gonna be the sea, beach, sand, corals, fishes & da sun - sunrise! It definitely beats going to some orientation coupled with lame games at the murky water sentosa. Haha. I shall bring back redang's coolest sea, n' the fabulous scenery over there! =)

I'm pretty much zonked out. It was my first time at zouk with sandra, due to the pangseh by amelia & bf. Its pretty odd there's just the 2 of us, nevertheless we still had fun! The clubbing scene, and dancing to the familiar retro songs belted out.

Big crowd already by the time we got there. Jostling thru the dancefloor finding a spot wasnt that easy, coupled with some inconsiderate clubbers elbowing you as they dance. And the floor was wet. Ppl just dump their drinks on the floor and perhaps someone kicked over it. And the countless smokers there! The smokey feel in your eyes was quite unbearable.

All that said, actually its alright if you're enjoying yourself! We danced like close to 4 hrs! Heh. And the ppl on the platform dance so well, with all the para para moves, whatever u call that. I call them the seasoned clubbers. =)

COOL!!! Its down to the final day. Today my dept manager just came back from leave. Apparently she went bangkok, so cool! We were sharing our experiences on bkk, and it reminds me of the crazy tuk tuk, the howls that we heard from the cabs instead of horns at night, the ever-delicious-wanna-have-a-second-round seafood, the bargains and cheap buys at plantinum fashion mall, and the brief encounter with the then rallies.

All these memories etched in my mind. =)

Talking about office, so glad tomorrow's my last day. So my routine next week definitely would be changed drastically, and its time to learn to adapt. In the office today, time really passes by fast! The temp staff taking over my job scope came in today, so most of the time, i was coaching her.

So tmr should be spent on doing some printing, packing and saying goodbyes to my colleagues. I think i'm really gg to miss pple like willy, teck loon, aaron, sandra, john & james.

Besides that, i'll definitely miss some of the beauties in the company. Hehe.

And, the Batman & Robin sequel that we all came up with in making a dig at our terrible bosses. Good grief, they better not see this.

At least my boss still gave me a treat. Okay, he redeemed himself, but only by a mere 0.1% haha.

So, i shall sign off. LAST DAY LAST DAY LAST DAY!!! No its not the last day for GSS.

On a mini-hiatus again hehe.

Working life really isnt the type of life that i see myself enjoying. Coupled with the lack of proper HR, its really terrible. As my last day of this working stint approaches, i can't help smiling but miss the bunch of colleagues that i've seen every mon-fri mornings.

Speaking of WC2006, its such a pity that my fav Argentina bowed out after losing on penalties 4-2 to host Germany. The previous WC Argentina also had some tough luck, placing themselves in the "group of death" then and in 2006. And to unfortunately meet the host nation on their way to lifting the world cup trophy is pretty much suicidal.

I felt all the players have fought well, and played with their heart and soul for Argentina. Although they were clearly the more deserving side to go through last night, nothing can be changed.

In four years' time, they shall come back and impress once again. My support goes all the way for them.

-I Love Argentina!- =)
