was back from shanghai a couple of days ago. enjoyed my stay over there... its fun and nice there. not like in spore.. (im starting to feel this way) u hav to keep thinking what to do... aint it tired ya..? shanghai is really big.. even 10 days is not enough to explore all the places.. the temp there varies like from 0-10 degrees.. heard spore also quite cold nowadays... as low as 23? i think its great.. like today... the weather is fine for me... cant really bear with the heat..

maybe i shall start off talking bout the hotel? though its only 3 star hotel but its not bad... the best thing of all in the room of cos was the tv! know what... they got 50 over channels for u to choose.. gud right?! so during my stay... i spend my nights switching the channels. then was all the good food and cheap goods. over there... there's a hude variety of food.. as in kinda food u wun get in spore? and the food there is really cheap.. for lunch like in a restaurant for 6 person... the bill would reach up to max 300remit plus i guess.. thats like only 60sing dollars.. heh. talking bout cds... make me feel so regretful. i bought a cd from kinda shops like cd-rama in spore... it cost like 18remit. quite cheap... but there are places selling like only 5remit only... which obviously i only found out later... haa. also brought back quite a no. of dvds.. even the dvd player... can imagine my luggage weight ya. been to alot of attractions in shanghai also.. like the oriental pearl. its damn nice.. i think its 300m high.. and u can go up all the way there... enjoyed that and took pictures from there. the night view was really great.. also been to their museum exhibition... its freaking big i think. been walking and walking like for... at least 1 hour? keep looking out for the sign saying: zhong dian. haa nothing quite nice there except the mirrors that are capable of making u look fatter and shorter. adorable man.. hahaz. den i think shopping at xiangyang road was the best... the things are really cheap there.. and u can still bargain for lower prices.. yx was there on the same day same time too. but just no luck to run into her...

more happenings things are.. once buying dvds from a stall by the roadside... the police came. ya the guy was caught la... funny thing was we could still buy from him.. guess that wouldnt exist in spore... and the penalty wasnt heavy. just a fine... another one was the taxi driver whom wanted to get us out of this shit (traffic jam) got himself into shit instead. got a summon for gg into a road he wasnt allowed to. haa. another thing was... we ordered 1 jug of tea... then they served us 2 cups.. we asked for 2 more cups and the waitress said we need to pay for it. haha havent heard of such a joke before... cups made of gold arh.

ya havent talk bout food. most ppl favourite! their steamboat there is damn nice... serious! the ma la tang also was shiok. i can only recall... cant get to taste it le... haiz. the kfc there aint that fantastic... mac i dint really try though. but if u planning to go there.. dun forget to try hagen dazs and pizza hut. its fabulous! its way much better than the branches in spore... im lousy at describing details la.. so u better go there and taste it urself! or maybe u can look at the pizzahut website. hmm. tidbits not much difference from spore i tink... except chewing gums ah? haa. oh ya.. their supermarkets over there.. its like all the supermarkets there are like carrefour... so damn huge... its tiring to walk in shanghai... big place...

shanghai is really a nice place for holiday... nice weather at this time also. though sometimes can be pretty cold. their minus pts would be constant traffic jams most of the time. even non-peak hours... and crossing roads is really a challenge. its quite scary... cos sometimes u wun b sure which way the cars are coming from... other than that. to survive in shanghai really need to walk damn fast man. all of them really walking vvv fast wan.. u also need to know how to push ur way thru... and bear with squeezing with others. the most bad experience was in the mrt. its so packed till u dun hav to be afraid of falling... those few days i also learned how to elbow ppl away and push urself forward.. haa. its fun man... jus push ur way thru... but spore cant do that bleh. otherwise be in for a fight...

hmm guess readers are tired. haha to frens who are free and hav money to spare... shud consider shanghai... if u hate chinese den dun go there.. cos practically everything is in chinese.. i had a hard time there also. but its fun to see how they translate things like pizza hut as 'bi sheng ke' and many others... so much said also brought back some souvenirs... but there's really not enough for everyone la. rem my baggage limit? hee.. so not that i forgot bout u or what. just that i cant possibly bring back so many okay... im tired now too.. pretty sad i dint get to see my snow over there... anyway chrismas coming... wish all merry christmas too... hav a nice hol for guys b4 gg for army... as for gals... dun slack and gud luck in job-hunting... then wun feel so bored. ya... tk care and nites.
