Been busy and tired. So dint really update... but im back again =) Last wk attended the Rhibs course which i attended b4. Not knowing why i went for the course again despite passing the test the other time, i thot its okie to go again. Since its 8-5 and i get to
siam from 2 duties. Budden 8-5 is really not for me. One whole day out at sea, sunburnt, scorched, unbearable. Once u reach home the only thing u feel like doing is sleep. Cant muster any energy for other things. Then before u know it its back to camp again to endure yet another day, at the mercy of the scorching sun. So it wasnt really v good, although its 8-5. And my platoon ppl hav been passing comments like: "Eh.. shiok right? 8-5! No need do duty and go back home everyday." I jus smiled back. No use explaining unless they go thru the same thing. Jus let the perception of "Ya shiok 8-5" sink into their heads. Jus let them sabo me for more duties lah. Cant be bothered...
Budden the course was great, in a way i get to see some ssc3 guys from tuas. Friday after the end of the course, leslie, vishal, daniel, zx and me meet up with flying fish and went to marche for dinner. Heh we ordered the calamari, waffle which was nice! Daniel went to buy the huge chicken sausage which cost 13bucks. Hah disbelief! The sausage was... okay. Had fun talking bout some of the jokers in ssc3 times.. and things that happen during the rhibs course. And now then i know that jerry ong is leslie's cousin. And oh... he survived yet another week. Hmmm... his network of friends is really large.
Tuas ppl are so... fortunate. After this course, they get their wkends. But us? No weekends and its back to duty ytd. Today's sunday and its back to camp tonight because there's m203 firing tomorrow morning. Sigh.. but on a brighter note, my payslip was 570 instead of the usual 470. Thanks to ippt silver! The 100bucks was a timely arrival, considering i spent so much during sept, as well as losing so much (thanks to betting)
2 more months to 2005!
